X Is Now Letting Everyone Use Grok AI On Mobile And Web For Free: What It Offers

Elon Musk’s social media platform X is now offering the Grok AI chatbot for free. Yes, any X user on the web or mobile app (both iPhone and Android) can try out the AI chatbot from Musk’s xAI company. We had recently heard rumours about the Grok AI chatbot moving beyond the premium tier and now we can confirm this after getting access to the tool on our free account.

Many users had seen the feature work for them on their free X account, who got some basic tools of the AI chatbot working for their free account on the platform.

Grok AI For Free To All Users: How It Works

Similarly, you have the mobile app version of Grok AI which now relies on the Grok AI version 2.0 to give you the answers. We fed some prompts to create images using Grok AI and the results were not as quick as Google’s Gemini or Apple’s AI but still does a decent job of giving you the visual as described. You can ensure that X is not using your responses and queries to train its AI model by disabling that option in the privacy settings of your X account.

However, the free nature of Grok AI shows its true colours, as mentioned by the X users, who claim they can ask 10 questions to the Grok 2 AI model, while the same is limited to 20 questions for the Grok 2 mini model. You can also seek three image analysis requests per day.
