The new Galaxy S25 series will most likely have three models, including the Galaxy S25 Ultra once again. We have heard rumours about the Galaxy S25 Slim version but that could be reserved for another day by the company.
Samsung will also have AI in its sights with the Galaxy AI features for the new phones that will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite chipset. The company should upgrade on the cameras which were one of the best in 2024 and now the stakes have gone higher.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series will enable Qi2 wireless charging, according to a tip from Ice Universe. It is rumoured that the base model would have a battery with a rated capacity of 3,881mAh and a usual capacity of 4,000mAh. The current Samsung Galaxy S24 has a battery that is the same size as this.
According to previous leaks, the standard Samsung Galaxy S25 with 12GB + 128GB would start at $799 (Rs 67,400 approx), while the Galaxy S25+ with 12GB + 26GB might start at $999 (Rs 84,300 approx). The top-tier Galaxy S25 Ultra, on the other hand, is anticipated to launch for $1,299 (Rs 1,09,600 approx) for the 12GB + 256GB model.
In addition to the phones, we might also see the Galaxy Ring 2 version unveiled and the first Samsung XR headset teased ahead of the big launch later this year.
