Redmi, the budget sub-brand of Xiaomi, has expanded its smartphone range with the launch of the new Redmi 14C 5G in India. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset for improved performance and comes with a 50-MP primary camera. With notable features and long-lasting battery life, the Redmi 14C 5G could be the perfect choice for those seeking a smartphone under Rs 10,000.

The Redmi 14C 5G comes at a starting price of Rs 9,999 for the 4GB+64GB variants, while the 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB versions costs Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively.

It is available in Starlight Blue, Stardust Purple and Stargaze Black colour options.

Redmi 14C Features

The Redmi 14C 5G boasts a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate screen. Notably, the device comes with TÜV Rheinland certification for blue light emissions, TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free certification and Circadian certification.

It runs on Android 14 with the company's HyperOS skin on top. Also, the company has promised two Major OS updates and four years of security updates for the device. Talking about the processor, the device is equipped with a 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC under the hood which is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM for faster performance. Users can also expand the RAM up to 12GB using additional unused storage.
