TCL Brings Its 115-Inch QD Mini LED TV To India: Costs More Than Your SUV

TCL has introduced the largest QD Mini LED TV in the Indian market. The model was displayed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas this year, which features a 115-inch screen, the largest you can get in the country on a television.

The company claims its new TV has a 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and more than 20,000 local dimming zones to provide constant colour accuracy. With features including Game Master technology, Free Sync Premium Pro, and Multi-View 2.0 for improved productivity and gaming, it is powered by the Google TV operating system.

The TCL X955 Max QD-Mini LED 4K TV has a huge 115-inch (3840 x 2160 pixel) 4K Ultra HD screen and is certified by TÜV Rheinland for Blue light and flicker-free technology as well as HDR10+.

TCL says with the Dual Line Gate technology, the TV can handle a variable refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and 240 Hz. Using a 6-core LED chip, the TCL TV is said to increase brightness by 27.5 percent and efficiency by 30.02 percent.

TCL’s AiPQ Pro processor, which controls colour, contrast, and clarity, powers the TV. Features like AI scene for pixel-level image optimisation, AI colour for dynamic colour calibration and skin tone protection, and AI contrast for automatically enhancing the clarity of bright and dark details are included. By adding frames to blurry and torn images, the AI-MEMC feature of the TCL X955 Max QD-Mini LED 4K TV compensates for fast-moving objects.

TCL has included features like Game Bar for real-time game statistics, Game Master technology, auto low latency mode, and Free Sync Premium Pro for tear-free pictures on its TV. For Apple device connectivity, Multi-View 2.0 supports HomeKit and Airplay2.

It features a 12-speaker Onkyo 6.2.2 Hi-Fi system with a 120W rated output for audio. While the bass units are designed to handle low-frequency audio, they can produce surround sound using an up-firing speaker and left-right surround sound. The business supports audio technologies such as DTS Virtual X and Dolby Atmos.

The TCL X955 Max QD-Mini LED 4K TV has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 compatibility. It includes two ports for HDMI 2.0 and two for HDMI 2.1.
