OnePlus Open 2 Foldable Design Compared With iPhone 16 Pro Max: More Details Revealed

The Oppo Find N5 foldable is launching next month in China, which means, the OnePlus Open 2 will also be revealed that will eventually come to global markets later this year. And now, the upcoming Oppo foldable has been compared with the iPhone 16 Pro Max in the latest leaked visuals, where you can see the thinness of the Oppo device, and how it promises to make the segment exciting for the buyers this year. These images come via a product manager at Oppo so it cannot come from a more reliable source.

The Oppo Find N5 (or call it the Open 2) is placed next to a stack of coins, and credit cards too. But we are intrigued in seeing it next to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which tells you how sleek the new foldable from Oppo will be. It is being reported that the Oppo Find N5 will have thickness of under 4mm which makes it the second foldable device after the Huawei tri-fold device to breach this mark.

Oppo and OnePlus work together and most people agree that an Oppo foldable could become a OnePlus product for markets outside of China. As you can see in the image here, the Find N5 is placed next to the iPhone 16 flagship which tells you the gulf in the dimensions between these devices.

In fact, the 16 Pro Max looks like a giant when you look at the sleek presence of the Oppo foldable. The thinness of Oppo Find N5 is almost the size of the USB C port, which explains the excitement around this product when it is unveiled next month. More importantly, OnePlus Open 2 launching in markets like India will surely have a lot of interest, especially if it can build on the early promise of the first Open model.

The Find N5 is going to powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, that is more or less known. We also expect the device to pack some powerful cameras, as we have seen with the Find X8 Pro recently. All these upgrades could push the price but even then, Oppo will have everyone waiting to see the device in person.
