Samsung Galaxy S25 Launch: New AI 'Sketch To Image' Feature Teased
With the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event 24 hours from now, the tech giant has teased its new AI feature called Sketch to Image. This feature allows users to bring their creative imagination to life in seconds. One can draw a rough sketch of their imagination with typed or spoken instructions. This Galaxy AI tool will work its magic to create an appealing image for them, boosting their inner artist and helping enhance their productivity.
Ahead of the launch, the company announced Galaxy AI features as “a true AI companion. Samsung says, with Galaxy AI’s multimodal capabilities, you can draw a cat using S Pen and then type a “spacesuit" to put that cat in a space suit and send it to outer space."
The post further said that one can sketch a rough idea and then type or say what they want to add. For instance, draw a cat, then type “spacesuit" or say it aloud and Galaxy AI will do the rest. Alongside these, the tech giant also teased a video, where a user asks for some information from the AI bot and also adds a meeting to the calendar. This AI assistant is said to be Bixby with ChatGPT-like capabilities.
Samsung AI Sketch to Image Feature: How It Works
– Open the Settings app and go to the Galaxy AI section.
– Search for and tap on the drawing assist.
– To activate the feature, flip the switch on.
– Open the gallery app and select an image you want to edit.
– You will be prompted to draw an object on the screen.
The Sketch to Image feature was already available on the recently released Galaxy devices, but it only generated images based on the drawings with the S Pen or finger. But, with the release of One UI 7, users can access more options like 3D Cartoon, Sketch and Watercolor, giving users more scope to get creative.
Samsung has emphasised that this Galaxy AI feature is just a preview of what we can expect with the Galaxy S25 series. We’re expecting to hear more from the brand about its new AI features at the latest Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22 from the United States.
